Lancaster Priory Church needed to carry out essential repairs to the church tower, so applied to The Elizabeth & Richard Wilson Charitable Trust for a grant of £3000 towards the total estimated cost of over £100k.
The church submitted an application to The Trust, with a detailed explanation of the extent of the work and what funding had been secured and applied for from other trusts as well as the church’s own local fundraising efforts. Accounts and the most recent annual report were submitted along with the application.
A grant of £3000 was provided by The Trust and the project went ahead.
